About Me

My life has always been focused on continuous self-improvement. I believe in making the most of life.

In my short lifetime I have lived enough to know that if it wasn’t for God I would never have had the life that I now have.  The best thing that has ever happened to me in my whole life is PERSONALLY knowing the Supreme Being, my friend, God. I try to do everything to the best of my ability and I believe God sees that and rewards that, handsomely!

    Hi Sara

I came across about your distended lower abdomen from pcos.

I have been really struggling wth this lately and its start to affect my digestion.

I’m so bloated and unconfortable all the time despite being thin.
My ultrasound showed pcos with enlarged polycystic ovaries.

I was wondering if you have found anything to help your bloating and what other symptoms you have experienced.

Ive had a really hard time trying to find advice or answers and I’m feeling pretty stuck right now.

Any advice you have would be wonderful.
    Thanks so much.

While I had the cysts and the bloating, the biggest issue was infertility and missed periods. It did give me a lot of acne too. It’s been a few years and in that time, I changed a few things. I ate healthier foods, my digestion was regulated because of that. Also, I was able to eat more healthy fats and put on a little more weight. But I would say what helped me most was exercising. Some yoga also helped. Eventually I became pregnant and the cysts disappeared. I know different things work on different people, but diet and exercise are always good to get the body into balance.

    Hi Sara,

Thanks so much for your advice.

If you don’t mind me asking, did your bloating happen on an empty stomach too in the lower abdominal region?
My stomachlooks like yours in the picture except it’s all the time.
Do you think yours was from food or cysts?

    Thanks again for your help!

Yea mine was the uterus actually being enlarged. It was the lower abdomen that was bloated all of the time, but especially after eating. One time I went to the gynecologist and he was confused because he said my uterus was the size of a uterus at 2 months of pregnancy.
